Oren Rehany To Screen His Directorial Debut At The Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival

The Multi-Talented Actor And Comedian Has Added Director To His Extensive Resume

Monday, April 28, 2014 — Oren Rehany is preparing to showcase his first directed film, “Engel,” a short film about a defecting runaway Nazi soldier during World War II who has an unusual encounter with a mystical stranger in the middle of the forest.

Rehany will be showing the film as an official selection at The Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival on May 4th at 2:30 p.m. The film and the festival's other works will be presented at the Laemmle Town Center in Encino, California. Following the viewing, Rehany will be on hand with cast and crew members for a Q&A with the audience.

Rehany, who recently guest stared on the TNT hit Leverage, has appeared in a variety of independent films and stage plays. The actor is truly multi-talented, doing comedy as well as stage and film, and even speaks several languages and has mastered over 10 accents. So it is not surprising that he would also be great at directing.

“It is such an accomplishment to be able to show versatility in this industry,” says Tara Kurtz who manages Rehany at Harris Management. “Oren has all the skills that are needed to be a stand out in this business, on many levels”

Oren Rehany is represented theatrically by the Wayne Agency and commercially by Clear Talent. For more information on Oren Rehany, please visit orenrehany.com.
